Did an invitation to a last minute party come up and you didn't get an appointment with your hairdresser? You do not need to get disheveled because it is possible to make a brush with a salon result at home. Hair stylist Megue Costa, from the Emme Vip salon, in Minas Gerais, gives eight tips for you to fix your own hair.
Use quality shampoo
"When we use quality shampoo, specific to the type and needs of our hair, the brush is more beautiful, shiny, has less chance of curling and facilitates brushing", explains the professional. Good shampoos have more technology and nutrients, replacing the molecules that the threads lose with colorings, wind, pool, sea and other aggressions.
Wash your hair well
“It may seem silly, but washing it well or badly makes a good or bad brush, long-lasting and shiny or a bad brush, with frizz and that ends in one day. If the hair has greased, it is a sign that it may have been badly washed. It is important to wash the hair two to three times until the shampoo froths very little, ”says the hair stylist. It is essential to rinse the product thoroughly to remove all residues. Before applying the mask, remove moisture from the hair, the water prevents the product from penetrating the hair, preventing the moisturizing action.
Apply a good conditioner or mask, preferably in the same line as the shampoo
"Generally, the shampoo prepares the hair, opening the cuticles to receive the conditioner or mask, products with a greater amount of nutrients that close the cuticles, leaving the hair brighter", clarifies Megue.
Use thermal protector
After washing, Megue indicates that it is time to apply the leave-in with thermal protection: “It is essential to protect the hair from the heat of the dryer and facilitates brushing, in addition to ensuring greater shine. The product can be used from root to tip, but in small quantities ”.

Start at one of the quadrants at the back, picking up strips one to two fingers thick. Dry the strands very well, with the dryer at least 3 cm apart to avoid burning.
